My friend and I had the greatest time at the show last night! The singing, dancing was unreal. Thank you for bringing this fabulous show to Indy!!

No band. What even is this? Karaoke? Magic of Motown was so awkward from start to finish. Multiple times performers stood on stage waiting for someone to cue the track. A couple of the performers had good vocals, while others were horribly off pitch. Despite the heroic efforts to win us over with multiple wardrobe changes, this show had no pulse; was flat and boring. People left before it was over. The MC at a podium (lol) on stage throughout the show made it feel like we were at a high school lip sync talent show. So strange! We were more entertained by the heckling from the audience than any moment during the awkward choreography, weak attempts at humor or dopey sing along bits. For all the energy, relevance and soul the original Motown artists brought, this road show did not.
